WWE Money in the Bank 2023 Predictions: Will Randy Orton Return On The MITB Show?

Randy Orton has been out of the WWE in-ring action for more than a year now. The Viper made his last appearance in May 2022, where The Bloodline attacked him and ruled him out of action for a long, long time.

There were rumors claiming that Randy Orton would return in summer to set up a SummerSlam main event match against Roman Reigns at the Biggest Party of Summer. However, the rumors proved to be false as Orton remained out of action.

At the start of 2023, a rumor surfaced online claiming that Orton is fit and would return to WWE on the RAW or SmackDown after WrestleMania 39. However, even that rumor proved to be inaccurate as Bob Orton stated that doctors have advised Randy not to wrestle again.

Randy Orton is unlikely to return at WWE Money in the Bank 2023

As mentioned ahead, the latest update on Randy Orton’s return to WWE is that The Viper has been advised to stay away from the ring by the medical team. It is still his call. If his body can take more blows, he can perhaps return for a few more matches.

Many WWE legends have made miraculous returns to the ring in the recent past. Orton would like to finish the storyline with Matt Riddle and The Bloodline and end his career on a high.

WWE Money in the Bank 2023 will happen in London on July 1, 2023. The premium live event is just three weeks away. It seems highly unlikely that Orton will return to The O2 Arena. Plus, there seems no position on the card where Orton could fit, further confirming that The Apex Predator will not be taking any flights to London in the coming days.

Orton’s tag team partner Matt Riddle will be in action tonight. He will take on Damian Priest in a MITB Qualifier on RAW.
