WWE Extreme Rules 2022 Match Card: Will Roman Reigns Wrestle On Extreme Rules?

Reports are coming in about Roman Reigns not defending his Undisputed titles at WWE’s next PPV, that is Extreme Rules. Owing to his Part time schedule, he will be defending his titles only at WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia and won’t even be booked for Extreme Rules in October.

This could be because it is believed among wrestling circles, that Reigns will only be appearing on major events, like the yearly Big 4 and the ones held at stadiums and also in Saudi Arabia. WWE is trying to turn Reigns into a new Brock Lesnar type character. As a guy who is unbeatable and is portrayed at a higher level than the rest of the roster, GOD Mode, while he only works on limited schedule.

Even on WWE’s TV programming, he will only be appearing on the shows he is advertised at. On SmackDown more often than RAW, but not every week as a rare star attraction that everyone eagerly waits to Acknowledge.

Who is the next opponent of Roman Reigns in WWE?

In a recent edition of wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer’s Wrestling Observer Radio, he has discussed the future bookings for Reigns and claimed, “He’s not on the show. His next championship match is Saudi Arabia. I don’t know who against, but I know it’s Saudi Arabia. He’s not on the Philly show.”

Based on what we saw at Clash At The Castle, with Karrion Kross taunting Drew McIntyre during the main event, it’s highly likely that one of the main matches at the Extreme PPV will be Drew McIntyre Vs Karrion Kross.

WWE Crown Jewel is scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 5 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and it looks like the WWE Universe will have to wait till then to Acknowledge the Tribal Chief and his Undisputed titles. Let’s just hope, after a two month long wait, his challenger is as mighty and helps elevate the championship to a higher pedestal.
