WWE Crown Jewel 2023 Predictions: Hall Of Famer Predicts Who Will Win Rey Mysterio Vs Logan Paul Match

Hall of Fame journalist Bill Apter recently shared his WWE Crown Jewel 2023 predictions. One of his predictions was for the United States Championship match between Rey Mysterio and Logan Paul at WWE Crown Jewel 2023.

Logan Paul made a surprise return to WWE recently and started a feud with the reigning United States Champion, Rey Mysterio. The two Superstars had a confrontation on last week’s SmackDown episode, and they will go one-on-one for the first time in Riyadh this Saturday.

Bill Apter appeared on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s The Wrestling Time Machine podcast, where he shared his views on the match between Mysterio and Paul. In his view, Paul might dethrone Mysterio as the US Champion because he can attract more eyeballs towards the WWE product by taking the belt outside the company.

“I think if Logan Paul wins, which I think he will, the promotional aspect of WWE under the new company would be raised quite a bit because he’s a social [media] influencer, and he’ll be, ‘Look at this, I have this championship.’ It’ll be all on his social platforms,” said Apter.

Fans across the world have also been making their predictions for the US Championship match between Rey Mysterio and Logan Paul. In the recent past, Logan has had some amazing WWE matches, but he has not had too many wins under his belt. By giving him the US Championship, WWE can honor Paul for his contributions to the business.

At the same time, losing to Logan Paul will not hurt Rey Mysterio’s character much because he is an established legend. Besides, there have been rumors of Logan feuding with Kevin Owens in the near future. Perhaps, the social media megastar can win the belt from Mysterio and then lose it to Owens at Royal Rumble in 2024.
