The global juggernaut of wrestling, WWE, is being led into the future by a new regime led by WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque. The promotion has undergone changes, especially with the departure of former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon following Janel Grant’s allegations. Furthermore, a new report indicates that McMahon no longer has access to his former territory now.
In a recent episode of “The Insiders” podcast, the host of the show, Conrad Thompson spoke with Tom Carlucci. He was known to be a long-time associate of Vince McMahon since 1987 and held various roles within WWE over the decades.
Why is Vince McMahon not allowed to enter the WWE HQ?
Moreover, Carlucci recounted receiving inquiries about McMahon from tabloids seeking scandalous revelations. But Carlucci refused to speak ill of his former employer. He also disclosed that the concept for the new WWE Headquarters building was in fact Vince McMahon’s idea, driven by his desire to consolidate all operations under one roof. Ironically, the gym within the headquarters, designed to McMahon’s preferences, is now off-limits to him.
“I will never badmouth [Vince]. Now, what’s going on with Vince now, that’s a totally different story. There are three sides to every story in my book. Stuff is going to come out and you’ll see it. I don’t know anything about it, but it is what it is as we all know.”
Furthermore, Tom Carlucci revealed that Vince McMahon can’t even enter the new WWE Headquarters, a dream he had envisioned for the company.
“He can’t even walk in the building… It’s crazy that you drive by that building with that big championship belt. He always wanted us under one roof. That was his dream, and he’s not even a part of it anymore.”
Despite vehemently denying all allegations, Vince McMahon remains under investigation by the Justice Department, prompting Grant to temporarily suspend her lawsuit, so it is yet to be seen when the people will hear the end of this controversy.
