WrestleMania 39 is only two days away, and the only question in the minds of fans is whether Bray Wyatt will be a part of the match card. Wyatt was supposed to have a match against Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania 39.
Bray Wyatt had announced before the Elimination Chamber PPV that he would face the winner of Bobby Lashley vs Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. After Lashley won the match, although via Lesnar’s disqualification, Wyatt started cutting promos on him.
Things even got a little physical when Wyatt’s accomplice Uncle Howdy attacked Bobby, who thwarted the assault. However, Bray stopped appearing on TV after that. This week on RAW, WWE has advertised Lashley as a participant in the Andre The Giant Battle Royal.
Bray Wyatt slammed for missing WWE shows on the road to WrestleMania 39
On his podcast, The Jim Cornette Experience, Cornette seemed little impressed with Wyatt and has questioned his whereabouts. The veteran has speculated, whether it was a physical issue with Wyatt or whether it was Bray just not cooperating.
He said in harsh words, “There’s gotta be something wrong with this guy. Somehow, he was advertised for WrestleMania and all this other stuff, and suddenly, he’s gone. So there’s something wrong either creatively or physically or maybe mentally.” (9:08 – 9:40)
Cornette thinks that Wyatt believes himself to be a major star. Also if he doesn’t show up at an event, WWE will bow down to his will. However, some reports suggest that Bray is dealing with some physical issues.
Even 5 days before the event, there is no news of Bray’s match at WrestleMania 39. Online wrestling journalist, Xero News, reports that WWE wants to bring back his “The Fiend” gimmick.
The report says, The Fiend was a profit making machine for the company and sold loads of merchandise. Therefore, they want the character to return. Maybe, we are in for a WrestleMania surprise if The Fiend appears at some point during the show. We’ll have to wait for the weekend.
