Fielding first, West Indies U19 fantastically bowled out the U19 Africans for 146 runs where Anderson Mahase picked up a four-wicket haul backed by Onaje & Jaden’s 3 wickets each. While on the batting side Giovente, skipper Ackeem, and Teddy made major contributions but couldn’t chase down the target.
On the other hand, South Africa’s openers gave a fine start to their side, scoring 64 runs while the rest scored under 20 runs and had set a decent target for the Indies. In the latter half, the bowlers did a great job knocking them out in the 35th over at 128 runs, wherein Dewald Brevis and Andile Simelane had chipped in most of the wickets.
