When Will KKR Play Their Next Game In IPL 2021?

It seemed that the ongoing jeopardy of KKR on the field wasn’t simply enough for them to spark chaos. They now find themselves in an even deeper lake of ordeal as two of their players, Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrier have tested positive for the virus. There have been some severe speculations about KKR’s next game.

Though there are talks of a repeat test being conducted in order to avert the false positive report scenario that left Anrich Nortje in a lot of trouble. However, as per rumours, several players including Pat Cummins have also fallen ill.

Immediate isolation has been deployed, however, it is still to be discerned that what exactly has unfolded in the tents that have led to such massive unrest in the bio-bubble.

What exactly happened to CV Varun and when can we have KKR’s next game?

It is said that Varun Chakravarthy went to get his shoulder

tested after copping an injury and that was outside the bubble. Though it was through the green corridor that was designated for the cricketers outside the bubble, yet going by the history, he must have contacted the virus while he was out for the test.

Unfortunately, Sandeep Warrier also caught the virus and has tested positive after this entire mishap. As per the IPL protocols, one needs to return negative results on day 1, day 3 and day 6 to get out of isolation. Today’s game against Royal Challengers Bangalore was rescheduled and the new date is yet to be confirmed.

Kolkata’s next game is on 8^th May against Delhi Capitals. They are rooted in the seventh spot of the points table as they have won just two games out of their seven games until now.

The batting order has failed miserably until now and their bowlers have been dragging the entire outfit on their shoulders. There were already sparks flying considering Kolkata’s dipping form in the tournament and now this new manifestation can lead to a serious dent over the imminent period for KKR.
