Chennai Super Kings is one of the most popular franchises in the Indian Premier League. The Chennai-based franchise has won four championships and qualified for the playoffs in 11 out of the 13 seasons that they have played. One of the main reasons behind the team’s success is that they back the players and realize their full potential. Albie Morkel was one of such players.

Albie Morkel praised MS Dhoni for Chennai Super Kings’ success in the Indian Premier League

MS Dhoni is the only captain from IPL 2008 who is still the skipper of an IPL team. CSK has been very successful under him, and here’s what Albie Morkel had to say about him in an interview with Sportstar:

β€œHe plays a big role. We all know how big Dhoni is in India. He is one of the best T20 and white-ball players ever to play the game and if you get him as a leader, it is going to bring success.”
