Chennai Super Kings are the most successful franchise in the history of the IPL in terms of the most wins. The four-time IPL champions have the best win percentage of 58.41.

They have won as many as 121 games and lost 86 games in their journey. Notably, they are also the only team in the history of IPL to have beaten four different oppositions to win four titles.

CSK beat Mumbai Indians in IPL 2010 to win their first IPL title and in the subsequent season, they got the better of Royal Challengers Bangalore to win their second title.

In IPL 2018 season, MS Dhoni and Co defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad to win their third title. CSK won their fourth trophy by beating Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2021 final.

CSK gets a roaring reception in Ahmedabad

Meanwhile, the fans in the cricket fraternity are curiously waiting for the sixteenth edition of the IPL. The teams have been gearing up for the cash-rich IPL, which is less than a day away from getting underway.

Chennai Super Kings will lock horns with Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2023 opening fixture on March 31. The game will kick off at the world’s largest cricket stadium, Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Meanwhile, CSK players, coaches, staff and the other members of the CSK family arrived in Ahmedabad for the tournament opener. Notably, CSK received a roaring reception as soon as they arrived in Ahmedabad.

It is quite obvious that CSK have a massive fan base in India and across the world. It will be quite interesting to see how they go about their business throughout the tournament.

In the last edition, things didn’t turn out well for the franchise as they failed to qualify for the playoffs. They ended up finishing ninth on the points table with four wins and 10 defeats in the league stage.
