The wrestling world has been buzzing about Roman Reigns ever since the ‘Original Tribal Chief’ resurfaced back to WWE at SummerSlam 2024 and took down his former Enforcer, Solo Sikoa. He had an altercation with him and his Bloodline on the following SmackDown, with a hearfelt gesture that Reigns showed towards a fan as the show went off the air.

As mentioned, Roman Reigns returned during the closing moments of the Cody Rhodes vs Solo Sikoa match at SummerSlam 2024. Reigns entered the ring and attacked Solo Sikoa, who assumed the reins of The Bloodline in his absence since WrestleMania 40 and proclaimed himself as The Tribal Chief.
On the fallout edition of SmackDown, Solo Sikoa and his Bloodline members, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa first confronted Cody Rhodes before stating that they would deal with Roman Reigns first. At the end of the night, Solo challenged Reigns to come out to face him. The ‘OTC’ emerged and single handily took down all members of the Bloodline, leading to Solo Sikoa retreating as he watched Reigns destroy Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa.
Following the end of the show, unseen footage showed Roman Reigns heading backstage. As he walked back the ramp, a fan screamed at the excitement of watching him. The OTC, now proclaimed as a babyface, approached the fan and let him squeeze his arm in a sign of appreciation.

Until WrestleMania 40, Roman Reigns was a monster heel that did not showed love back to the fans much. However, since his absence and after his return fans have sided with him solidfying his status as a babyface. With Reigns back in the mix, it will interesting to see him combat against Solo Sikoa and his allies as he attempts to regain his place at the top.
