USA vs MEX: The Allegiant Stadium will host the CONCACAF Gold Cup final between the USA and Mexico.
It has been a journey filled with ups and downs for all the participating nations. However, beating all odds, the USA and Mexico will trade tackles in the finals.
The USA is walking into this encounter over a final few minutes thriller against Qatar in the Semi-Final. It was a disappointing first half as neither of the sides scored a goal.
As the match progressed, the encounter was reaching extra time but an 86th-minute goal by Gyasi Zardes, turned him into the hero of the match and that helped the USA claim a place in the Final.
On the other hand, Mexico is coming in by stomping all the hopes of the Canadian side in the other Semi-Final. Mexico gained the lead after Orbelín Pineda converted the granted penalty into a superb goal.
It wasn’t too long before Canada midfielder Tajon Buchanan equalized minutes after the commencement of the second half. There was no scope of a comeback for either team as the match was about to end in a draw.
Although, fate had other plans for Mexico as their experienced midfielder Héctor Herrera scored an upsetting 90+9th minute goal to clinch a final few seconds thriller.
It will be a tough time at Nevada as both giants will be looking to dominate the other.
