The Undertaker signed a new contract with WWE, Find out all the details here

In a major development on the night of WrestleMania XL, the Undertaker signed a new contract with WWE even though it was for a short period of time. For the fans who believe that this means we will be seeing more of the Dead Man, as per the latest report, it was a legend contract and that was only for the two nights of the Showcase of Immortals.

The Deadman retired in 2020 with his last bout happening in WrestleMania 36 that saw him go head to head against AJ Styles in a boneyard match-up. But then something that at least the American Nightmare was not expecting to in his favour if we obviously take kayfabe to take the front seat, that was the arrival of the Dead Man in his favour.

The Taker was a part of the wrestling industry for three staggering decades before he decided to hung the boots up once and for all. However, in WrestleMania XL, he appeared out of thin air, chokeslammed the Rock, eventually leading to the final showdown between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes.

Here’s the latest update on Undertaker’s contract with WWE

Apparently, the Phenom signed a legend’s contract with WWE as per the reports of Mike Johnson of PW Insider. Negotiations happened around the WM season and the contract came to an end on the closing night of WrestleMania XL.

Taker had an iconic 21-0 streak in WM where it was eventually beaten by Brock Lesnar. Even though Taker suffered a second defeat at the hands of Roman Reigns in the Showcase of Immortals, yet, by then the Dead Man was done already and no one cared about the streak anymore.

With the Rock running riot, everyone expected one of his arch-nemesis, Stone Cold Steve Austin to show up. But who would have known that WWE was planning something way crazier and that was the return of the Phenom.
