Team India are playing against the Australian national cricket team in the third and final ODI at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Australia’s stand-in skipper, Steve Smith won the toss and chose to bat first.
Australia largely benefitted from the services of Mitchell Marsh and Travis Head at the top of the order. The right and left-hand opening combination by adding a 68-run stand before Head fell prey to Hardik Pandya’s delivery for 33 runs.
Hardik Pandya provided another breakthrough by dismissing Steve Smith for a duck and Mitchell Marsh for 47 runs. After Hardik Pandya showcased his mettle, it was Kuldeep Yadav who weaved the magic with the ball.
Kuldeep Yadav bowls a gem of a ball to dismiss Alex Carey
India’s chinaman bowler, Kuldeep Yadav chipped in with disciplinary bowling performance against the Australian cricket team in the ODI series decider at Chepauk Stadium in Chennai.
Kuldeep Yadav bowled tricky deliveries in the form of googlies and reaped rewards in the game. The left-arm spinner dismissed dangerous David Warner for 23 before going on to dismiss Marnus Labuschagne for 28.
However, the best part of his bowling came during the first ball of the 39th over when Kuldeep Yadav bowled a gem of a delivery to get rid of Australia’s wicketkeeper-batsman Alex Carey.
The left-handed batsman was looking in decent touch with the bat where he struck two fours and a six. When he was en route to scoring a fifty, he fell prey to Kuldeep Yadav’s cracker of a delivery.
Kuldeep Yadav misjudged the line while attempting to play the ball and ended up getting bowled. Carey departed for 38 off 46 balls. The commentators praised Kuldeep Yadav for his masterful delivery.
At the time of writing this article, the Australian cricket team posted 218 for the loss of seven wickets in 41 overs. Team India did their job pretty well in the bowling unit and they have a great chance to win the series.

If that delivery was bowled in the Ashes, it would've been termed as ball of the century.
