“That moment, that night”, CM Punk reveals the greatest moment of his wrestling career

As CM Punk and John Cena are two of the most formidable forces in WWE given their glistening career, Cena’s announcement of his farewell has left Punk in a bit of a sad spot. Returning at Money in The Bank, John Cena confirmed that the next year’s WrestleMania at Las Vegas will be his swansong in the ring.

Cena has also confirmed that he will not be taking any further part in any kind of in-ring activity, whether being a guest referee or being a mediator in any possible contract between two wrestlers. In a nod to Cena’s greatness, Punk has underscored how the two have been familiar faces and how their rivalry gave WWE a major uplift back in the day.

Here is what CM Punk had to say about John Cena

Talking on the post-show presser after Monday Night Raw, Punk said that he always looked at the duo of him and Cena as dynamic as Batman and Superman. He referred to the duo being super likeable and the way they have carried forth the mantle, it simply makes them the greatest characters on the screen.

He also revealed the greatest moment of his career, pinpointing the Money in the Bank clash between him and Cena, stating, “That moment, that night, you say it’s the best moment of my career. I feel fortunate to have had a career where I can maybe argue that, and I think a lot of other people could argue that too. I’m going to always be tied to John Cena, and if that is the greatest moment of my career, I’m proud of that.”

Ever since Cena has announced his retirement, Punk has lauded the former for his unwavering service to the industry. When Punk started getting in the bad books of WWE towards the end of his first stint, things went haywire with the Second City Saint calling out Cena to be a sycophant. However, this changed attire has shocked the world while the fans believe that the admiration from Punk for Cena is genuine.
