In eight games so far in IPL 2022, Kieron Pollard has scored 115 runs at an average of 16 and a poor strike rate of 127. For a player of his stature, especially after being retained, the stats are unacceptable. Pollard has failed in a few situations in which he has done well before. Although Mumbai Indians might still back him, there could be an outside chance of the franchise releasing the cricketer.
