WWE Royal Rumble 2023 Predictions: Will The Rock Return On The PPV?

The Rock has been rumored to return to WWE for years now. His last appearance for the world’s biggest pro wrestling company back in the year 2019, when he made a guest appearance on the inaugural episode of SmackDown on FOX. The People’s Champion featured in the opening segment of that episode.

The then RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch opened the show, only to be interrupted by King Corbin. Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson made his much-awaited return to WWE on that night and allied with Becky to take out Corbin. He destroyed the former King of the Ring winner both on the mic and inside the ring as well.

Since then, the rumor mill has claimed multiple times that the Brahma Bull is on his way back to the company. However, the rumor has proven to be true. The rumor mill is abuzz once again with the WrestleMania season approaching.

Some reports have even claimed that the Rock will not only return to WWE but also win the 2023 Men’s Royal Rumble match to set up a dream clash with his cousin Roman Reigns

In case you haven’t noticed yet, the WWE have released a brand new poster for the upcoming premium live event – Royal Rumble 2023. Multiple Superstars are a part of the poster. While The Rock is obviously not among those Superstars, the entire poster has an electrifying theme.

The Rock is often referred to as ‘The Most Electrifying Man in the entire WWE’. So, many fans consider this as a subtle hint of the Brahma Bull’s return. The answer to the question of the Rock returning is most probably yes, but we will only know the truth on January 28.
