SRH signs Harry Brook for INR 13.25 Cr
In recent months, young England batter Harry Brook has been in fine form. While he has done well in the shorter formats, he has been great in Tests, too. Against Pakistan in the recent Test series, he was the best batter for England. The impressive aspect about Brook has been his ability to do the tough task in the middle-order in T20s. Hence, it was not a surprise that SRH spent big on him.

SRH will benefit from the youngster’s hitting abilities in the middle order
SRH has a packed top order with Abhishek Sharma, Mayank Agarwal and Rahul Tripathi likely to start for the franchise. It is the middle order that SRH needs a lot of options. Harry Brook is likely to slot in at No.5 or No.4 and will be accompanied by the likes of Aiden Markram and Glenn Phillips. There is also the option of Heinrich Klaasen available for the franchise.
It will be important for Harry to perform well for the franchise. Yes, he is inexperienced but SRH will be desperate for the overseas middle order to do well. Also, Harry Brook will have to face competition from other middle-order batters to cement his spot in the XI. Therefore, it will be interesting to see how he does next season.
