On the last episode of WWE Raw, it was announced that Paul Heyman will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. The wiseman alongside Roman Reigns, in fact, someone who has been the manager of legendary names in the WWE circuit encompassing the likes of Brock Lesnar, Ryback, CM Punk, and many more names to follow suit.

He is deemed as one of the finest managers in pro-wrestling and he continues to excel with every passing day in the industry. Guess what, out of all the wrestlers whose promo have been cut by Paul, one of the names that have been supported equally is very rarely talked about and that is of a legend called Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Over the antiquity of his glistening career Austin nailed a handful of killer promos while his Austin 3:16 promo still remains one of the finest of all time. However, a very underrated fact is that Steve Austin may not have ever reached those heights in terms of the pipebombs had it not been for the big man himself, Paul Heyman.

SCSA confessed that he had challenges while trying to excel in WCW. However, working with Paul Heyman and in ECW helped him work on his promos and what followed suit was stuff of sheer gold and very rarely known by people.

Writing in his book, The Stone Cold Truth, SCSA penned, “I owe Paul Heyman for that opportunity because he was the guy who let me do it. And he’s the guy who gave me feedback. He’d tell me what I might want to talk about, but he didn’t tell me how to say it. He’d just say, “Talk about this.” I’d say, “Well …” And he’d say, “Just talk about how you really feel.” Man, once he said that there I was. So I have to give Paul E. a lot of credit for my learning how to cut a promo.”

When it comes to managing legends and knitting together words, very few can come in the same league as that of Paul. Possibly the Rock, Stone Cold and CM Punk came close but Heyman has always been an ace and continues to be an ace with the mic in his hand.
