Jon Moxley is one of the most popular Superstars in AEW. The former AEW World Champion gained enormous popularity during his stint with WWE, where he was known as Dean Ambrose. He quit WWE in 2019 after his contract expired and is yet to return to the company.

When Moxley was in WWE, he had the nickname of ‘The Lunatic Fringe’, and he had long hair as well. Many girls even had a crush on him. In fact, former WWE backstage interviewer and commentator Renee Young fell in love him and even got hitched to him.

However, times have changed now, and it has been almost five years since Jon Moxley joined AEW. In the last five years, Moxley’s life has undergone several changes. Even his look has changed, with the AEW Superstar dropping a new look on social media, where he is fully bald. A popular X user shared a Then vs Now comparison of Moxley which went viral on X. Will Jon Moxley ever return to WWE?

Despite being away from WWE so long, Moxley continues to be loved by the fans of the biggest pro wrestling promotion on earth. Moxley has mentioned in a previous interview that he would rather prefer working at McDonald’s instead of returning to WWE.

However, he also mentioned that he would be open to make a special appearance at WrestleMania if the money is huge. With Vince McMahon out of WWE, fans can think about seeing Moxley back at his home again. He has had a decent AEW run, where the company has presented him as a big star. Hence, there has been no major negative impact on his character.

At the same time, one cannot say that Moxley is on the same level as Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. Both of them are set to main event WrestleMania XL next weekend.
