Much to the delight of the fans, arch-rivals India and Pakistan will clash other this year. The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has released the cricket calendar for 2023-24, according to which Asia Cup will be played in September. The tournament so far is slated to take place in Pakistan. However, there have been a few issues related to it and it remains to be seen where will it take place.
Six teams will be divided into two groups with three teams each that will clash for the 50-over tournament championship. India and Pakistan are placed in group A along with a qualifier whereas Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan are placed in group B.
A total of 13 matches will be played in Asia Cup 2023 with Group Stage, Super 4 and final. The two arch-rivals clashed with each other three times in 2022, two times in Asia Cup and once in T20 World Cup 2022.
The last time when these two played in the game, it saw India clinching the match with Virat Kohli playing knock for ages. The two sides have been in a staggering form of late and it’s fair to say that the match between them will be staggering to watch.
