In this article, we take a look at how Twitter reacted as Cheteshwar Pujara bats for both teams in India vs Leicestershire practice match.
Pujara bats for both teams in India vs Leicestershire practice match
Usually, no hard and fast rules are followed in a practice game. It is not counted in FC stats and hence, we could see some unusual incidents happening. Even before the game started, it was a surprise to see the likes of Jasprit Bumrah, Rishabh Pant, and Prasidh Krishna playing for Leicestershire. Even Cheteshwar Pujara was in the team for the English club. In the first innings, he batted for them and was clean bowled by Mohammed Shami on zero.
When India batted again in the second innings, it was a surprise to see Pujara play for the Indian Team. He made 22 runs from 53 deliveries before getting out to R Sai Kishore. It was a rare occurrence. The management’s intention was perfect but a few viewers were confused.
After doing well in the County Championship, Pujara is certain of starting at No.3 for Team India. He has the experience, is in form and hence, he is likely to get a spot although he was dropped for the last Test series.

OUR OWN PUJARA
ICC is consulting MCC to declare Pujara, someone similar to the "Roving Ambassador of the UN".
A roving batsman who will be allowed to bat for every side on either side of every test match to be played in the multiverse from now on.— Jose Puliampatta (@JosePuliampatta) June 25, 2022
