The first-ever WarGames match in Survivor Series history is in the history books. The WWE show began with a women’s WarGames match, where Team Bianca squared off against Team Bayley. RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair’s team featured Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss, Asuka and Mia Yim, while Bayley’s team comprised WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Dakota Kai and IYO Sky plus Rhea Ripley and Nikki Cross.
Team Bianca Belair started as the favorites to win, but fans felt that Team Bayley also had a chance of winning this one because there was a possibility of Alexa Bliss turning on her group. However, the same did not happen. It was a fantastic match with some memorable spots.
The first two women to enter the WarGames at Survivor Series were Bianca Belair and Dakota Kai. IYO Sky joined them five minutes later. All competitors entered one after the other, and Becky Lynch was the last one to enter the structure. IYO Sky’s moonsault from the top of the WarGames structure, Nikki Cross’ madness, Rhea Ripley’s riptide and the teamwork of Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair were the highlights of the match.
WWE Survivor Series 2022 Results: Who won WarGames match?
In the closing moments of the match, Bianca Belair executed a KOD on Bayley near the cage, while Becky Lynch hit a leg drop on Dakota Kai and IYO Sky from the top of the WarGames structure. Both Kai and Sky were on the table, and they were pinned by The Man after the leg drop.
The babyface team celebrated their win, but some eagle-eyed fans noticed that Alexa Bliss was seemingly not so happy with her team’s win.
