Indian batter Virat Kohli is considered as one of the finest to have played the game of cricket. He’s the leading batter in all three formats and is breaking numerous records along the way. However, one record that many want him to break is of Sachin Tendulkar’s 100 centuries in international cricket.
Kohli recently surpassed Ricky Ponting to become the second leading century scripted in international cricket. The right-hander achieved the feat in the third ODI of the series against Bangladesh when he smashed his 44th ODI ton.
He ended his century drought in ODIs as he smashed a hundred after almost three years. Kohli ended with a score of 113 runs and helped his side score a total of over 400 runs.
Kohli is only behind great Sachin Tendulkar in terms of centuries and it’s a no-brainer that he can surpass batting great as well as he continues playing with the same intensity. He currently has 44 centuries in ODIs, 27 in Tests and 1 in T20Is.
Ishan Kishan, who recently scripted history by smashing a double century, said that everyone in the team wants Virat Kohli to score 100 centuries. Speaking about the same he said: “We all want to see Virat Kohli score 100 centuries”
