Cameron Green opened the innings for Australia in the T20I series against India before the 2022 T20 World Cup. He was in terrific form and showed a lot of positive intent. He is considered a bowling all-rounder and since such players are rated highly, he would be in demand in the IPL, too.
There will be a huge demand for all-rounder’s at the upcoming auctions
Pace-bowling all-rounders of elite quality are rare in the game right now. Hence, even if a player does decently well, IPL franchises usually eye such cricketers. In this regard, we can expect a lot of interest for all-rounders in IPL 2023 Mini-Auctions.
Sam Curran is likely to be a part of the bidding event and he is expected to be the highest earner. Ben Stokes is also going to register and a lot of franchises will also queue up for him. Cameron Green is also a player in this category.
