KKR does well with the ball against Gujarat Titans
Meanwhile, despite losing the toss, KKR did well with the ball against Hardik Pandya’s Gujarat Titans. The Titans won the toss and chose to bat first. They became the first team in this IPL to do that. Although they lost the early wicket of Shubman Gill, the likes of Hardik Pandya and Wriddhiman Saha helped GT steady the ship.
However, KKR picked wickets regularly and this stemmed the flow of runs for the Gujarat team. While Tim Southee was the most impressive of the lot with three wickets, Andre Russell also had four scalps against his name. KKR has restricted GT to 156-9 and it seems gettable at the moment. The Gujarat fans will hope that the strong bowling attack comes good today.
