In the recent episode of his podcast, Driv-Thru, wrestling veteran Jim Cornette had some interesting comments to deliver after seeing Rhea Ripley tie the knot with Buddy Matthews. Cornette jokingly stated he and Mami decided to end things privately a few months ago and she didn’t blame her for choosing Buddy Matthews over him.
“Well, we didn’t want to say anything, but now that that has gone public, Rhea and I privately decided to end our relationship a few months ago and I don’t blame her for on the rebound, you know, leaping into the arms of Buddy [Matthews],” joked Cornette.

Of course, it was Liv Morgan who put Mami on the sidelines with a sneak attack. Rhea Ripley is currently rehabbing from her shoulder injury and using natural methods to do the same instead of going for surgery. Moreover, Mami is expected to be back before SummerSlam next month.
