Ranking The Jerseys Of All The Countries Playing In Asia Cup 2022

We are just 24 hours away from one of the biggest continental tournaments and the wait feels unbearable. Asia Cup 2022 would be kickstarting with a banger between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan. As the tournament rolls with its tail up, it would not just be pitting willow against leather, it won’t be just pitting pride against pride but it would also witness colors splashing against each other.

As we head towards the continental extravaganza with two cricketing juggernauts hammering head-on against each other and other cricketing nations in Asia trying to make a statement, let’s rank the jerseys of all the teams who would be plying their trade in the hunt for the continental crown.

#6 Hong Kong

The jersey of the newly qualified Hong Kong is pretty much on the simpler side and won’t really be catching eyes as one would want them to. It is a plain dash of red with blotches of black on the sides.

However, what rivets everyone’s attention is the razor-sharp blades that extend from the lower part of the front of the jersey and do a complete round-up to the back.

#5 Afghanistan

The Afghans score decently in terms of their Asia Cup jersey as they would be coming forward with a decent splash of blue that has nuances and shades of the color casting layers on the threads.

There is also a red patch on the shoulders that signifies variety in the otherwise uniform splash of blue with a slight patch of red on the sides, borrowing the overall shade from the national flag of the country.

#4 Bangladesh

The Tigers will be coming heavily in the tournament and will be hoping to carry forward their decent form in 2018 to the latest chapter of the tournament. They will be donning their signature greens with splashes of red.

However, the red has been very uniquely placed in form of brushes that have been sprayed at the ends of the sleeve and on the mid-chest label on the same side as that of the Bangladesh crest.

#3 Pakistan

One of the cricketing juggernauts in the world at the moment will be coming to this tournament hoping to cut short their long drought. Their jersey showcases various shades of green with a white patch running across the chest just below another running patch of green.

It is neat, and clean and doesn’t seem too crowded. It scores high on the simplicity scale and yet somehow exudes the vibe of being a reckoner.

#2 India

The Men in Blue will be coming to this contest hoping to fix a lot of grey areas that have been untapped and somehow seems to fester. However, their jersey which was created during the last year’s T20I World Cup continues to serve them well.

With miniature models of graphs on the jersey that seems like sharp spikes, the crest sports a royal blue, signifying the royalty of the Indian side.

#1 Sri Lanka

Probably the best jersey for the upcoming Asia Cup will be undoubtedly going to the Lions as they have a singular mixture of colors on the chest that adorn the national logo perfectly.

It also has an underlying shade of a lion running through the lower left side of the jersey, making it a perfect armor for the ones willing to challenge the established.
