The PKL auction is already doing big rounds in the Indian sports fabric and the anticipations are already shooting through the roof. A team that has rocked the League across the spread timespan, U Mumba had a rare off-season that saw them winning a meager 7 games from the 22 that they were a part of.

Despite a season that went south, the Mumbai management decided to pin their hopes on a major chunk of their players from the last season with a couple of experienced players while the others are promising young guns who can be the key to the team’s future.

The legion from U Mumba were not letting go of their star defender, Rinku who was not dismissed for a single time in the preceding season. His staggering haul of 114 tackles makes him an indispensable pick in the likes of U Mumba and hence the decision of not letting him go.

A total of 9 players were retained by U Mumba out of which there were 4 existing new young players and 4 franchise nominated new young players.

With 8 players who belong to the two different categories, Kamlesh will be a leading raider in the existing new young players category. Despite not getting an opportunity in 2022, he can be a significant threat for the forthcoming year, given the promise shown by him in the preceding season.

He will be tagged by Shivam who is a decent raider while the duo of Prince and Rahul will be completing the existing New Young Players. In the category of franchise nominated young player there will be the likes of Sachin, Pranay Vinay Rane, Rupesh and Shivansh Thakur.
