How many players have U Mumba retained ahead of Season 9?

The legion from U Mumba were not letting go of their star defender, Rinku who was not dismissed for a single time in the preceding season. His staggering haul of 114 tackles makes him an indispensable pick in the likes of U Mumba and hence the decision of not letting him go.

A total of 9 players were retained by U Mumba out of which there were 4 existing new young players and 4 franchise nominated new young players.

With 8 players who belong to the two different categories, Kamlesh will be a leading raider in the existing new young players category. Despite not getting an opportunity in 2022, he can be a significant threat for the forthcoming year, given the promise shown by him in the preceding season.

He will be tagged by Shivam who is a decent raider while the duo of Prince and Rahul will be completing the existing New Young Players. In the category of franchise nominated young player there will be the likes of Sachin, Pranay Vinay Rane, Rupesh and Shivansh Thakur.
