The latest episode of WWE Raw was telecasted live from the MVP Arena in Albany, New York. The show starred a handful of incredible bouts, one of which was the heavyweight clash between Seth Rollins and Jey Uso while the other being a bout of WWE Tag Team Chamoionship between DIY and Imperium in a 2-out-of-3 falls match. Despite securing a critical win, Jonny Gargano and Tomasso Ciampa couldn’t really impress the former WWE writer, Vince Russo.
Over the recent weeks, DIY and Imperium has been fighting tooth and nail and the rivalry has been doing a few ripples all over the world. While bagging an important victory, the DIY once again proved why they are being labelled as one of the finest tag teams of the industry now. But Vince Russo believes it’s all a hoax.
Here is what Vince Russo had to say about DIY
Talking on the Podcast of Sportskeeda Wrestling, Legion of RAW, Russo said that DIY was simply not good enough and neither was the match. It was a disastrous showdown and things went further downwhill for the tag team.
Russo said, “I don’t have a lot of time left on this earth, okay? I’m not sitting there watching 20-minute matches between DUI [DIY] and Imperium, okay? That’s not gonna add anything to the life of Vince Russo bro, so all I need to is what is the finish, that’s all I need to know bro, and DUI [DIY] bro, bro if you’re not one of these people chanting ‘This is Awesome!’ nobody cares about these two guys, nobody, nobody, nobody, nobody.”
Jonny Gargano and Tomasso Ciampa are incredible wrestlers individually but when it comes to teaming up and forging a tag team, they have had their fair shares of challenges.
Even though the present WWE Universe in the arena loved them but how much would the company love them in their long-course, well time shall tell it all.
