“I’m Planning Something Very Special”- Queen Zelina Shows Off New Look During WWE Hiatus

Zelina Vega made history last year when she defeated Doudrop in the Queen’s Crown Final at WWE Crown Jewel to become the company’s first-ever Queen. She then formed an alliance with Carmella and the duo was successful in capturing the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships as well.

However, due to Carmella’s growing closeness with her husband Corey Graves, her tag team with Queen Zelina came to an end. Carmella has shifted her attention towards the singles division now. She challenged WWE RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair for the title at the Money in the Bank premium live event but failed to capture her first RAW Women’s title.

Nevertheless, earlier today, Carmella managed to beat Bianca Belair via count-out, thereby becoming the first woman to defeat Belair in a singles match in 2022. Meanwhile, Queen Zelina is on a hiatus due to an injury. She is likely to make her return soon.

“Queen Tingz. I’m planning something veryyyy special for The Queen’s Return… patience peasants…”

Salina de la Renta recently disclosed that she was once close friends with Queen Zelina

Former WWE Superstar Salina de le Renta was a guest on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Show UnSKripted this week, where she revealed that she trained with Zelina during their early days. However, when Zelina joined WWE, the distance grew between them.

“I would say I actually trained with her in the beginning. We used to be pretty close, but I think when she decided to go to WWE, with time, you know, you stop talking to certain people.”

Salina did mention that when she inked a deal with WWE, Zelina tried to reform their friendship.
