Bayley Teases Returning To WWE After More Than 1 Year At Money In The Bank

WWE Money in the Bank is the next premium live event of the company. The creative team has announced multiple matches for the show. As always, there will be two Money in the Bank ladder matches on the match card, one each for men and women. Former SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley has teased a return to the ring for the ladder match this Saturday.

Six participants in the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match have been announced. Lacey Evans, Raquel Rodriguez, and Shotzi have qualified from SmackDown, while Alexa Bliss, Liv Morgan, and Asuka are the three RAW Superstars in the match.

Generally, there are six to eight participants in a Money in the Bank ladder match. This year, it seems there will be seven Superstars each in both matches. The seventh spot is still vacant, and fans think that a returning Superstar could take that position.

Bayley is one of the Superstars who has been rumored to return for quite some time. The former SmackDown Women’s Champion has not performed in front of a live audience ever since the fans returned to arenas after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Earlier today, Bayley posted a photo of herself with the Money in the Bank briefcase in her hands. It is a picture from 2019, the year when she won the match and cashed in her contract to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
