Rahul Dravid is one of the greatest batters in cricket history. He made a name for himself with his solid defensive technique that helped him test the patience of the bowlers. Dravid would defend most of the balls but he never left any opportunity to smash a loose ball to the boundary as well.
To date, Rahul Dravid owns the world record for the most balls faced by a cricketer in international matches. The current Indian cricket team head coach was nicknamed The Wall during his cricketing days.
In a recent interview, Dravid was asked if there will be another cricketer who could play like him in the future for the Indian cricket team. He cheekily replied:
“Hope not, need to play more shots.”
Anchor: Can we see another Dravid from the young generation?
Dravid: Hope not, need to play more shots. (Big smile)

Rahul Dravid recently gave his honest opinion on Virat Kohli’s batting struggle
Virat Kohli is one of the most successful Indian cricketers of all time with thousands of runs to his name. However, the right-handed batter has had a tough time with the willow in cricket over the last few months. He has not scored a century in the last two years, with some fans opining that his motivation has probably gone down.
Giving his opinion on Kohli’s form, Rahul Dravid recently said:
“As a player, you go through these kinds of phrases. I don’t think in Virat’s case, it is a lack of motivation or desire. It’s not about scoring three figures, even a 70 on a difficult pitch is worth appreciation. In Cape Town, he didn’t convert it into a century, but it was a good score.”
