India is all set to kick off the home season with a white-ball series against Sri Lanka. The season will start with a T20I series. The first game will be played on 3rd January at iconic Wankhede Stadium followed by the second game slated to take place on 5th January in Pune. The last and final game will be played on 7th January in Rajkot.

While the squad is yet to be announced, in the latest development as per the reports in Cricbuzz, it is learned that all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja will make his comeback to cricket through the T20 series against Sri Lanka.

Jadeja injured himself during a water activity on Team India’s day off in the Asia Cup 2022. The all-rounder was enjoying his time on the ski board, on which he slipped and twisted his knee. He was then ruled out of the tournament and was forced to undergo surgery.

He then was ruled out of the T20 World Cup 2022 and all the games of India this year. Although there’s no official statement all-rounder reportedly has now attained full fitness and is likely to make his return.
