Mohammed Siraj Gave Epic Reply When English Crowd Asked The Score

Siraj's witty response leaves England fans stunned

Mohammed Siraj Gave Epic Reply: The English fans wanted to make the best use of every opportunity that came their way after the Indian supporters took turn in tormenting them with ludicrous tweets and responses owing to India’s historic win at Lord’s. This time the man who found himself at the receiving end was Mohammed Siraj.

This is not the first time that the English fans have targeted players from oppositions. Steven Smith and David Warner had to face an extremely hostile reception when the duo returned from their ban.

Even KL Rahul was peppered with paper missiles and bottles on the boundary in the preceding game for some unknown reason.

Yesterday, India suffered a terrible outing as they were bundled out for a humiliating 78 while their bowlers failed to prise out a single wicket as England went lightyears ahead with 120 for no loss at stumps.

Yesterday’s incident that left Mohammad Siraj angry

While fielding at the deep, Siraj was deluged with jeers and catcalls from the English supporters as he was England’s destructor-in-chief in the last Test match, claiming four wickets in each innings.

Cut from the same cloth as Indian skipper, Virat Kohli, Siraj doesn’t back down from a fight. When the English fans peppered him with incessant jeers and boos along the ropes, he flipped around and signalled them with a finger, that highlighted India’s 1-0 lead in the series.

Other fans were quick to point out that given the situation of the match and unless there is a miracle like the one at Eden Gardens that took down Australia, there is every possibility that the series will be levelled.

However, that didn’t stop Siraj from retorting to the English fans as he has had enough already. India will have their task cut out as the second day at Leeds resume with the English openers comfortably set in the middle.
