“Massive setback for RR”, Twitter reacts as Prasidh Krishna ruled out of the IPL 2023

During the next season of the Indian Premier League, right-arm bowler Prasidh Krishna of the Rajasthan Royals will not be participating due to his ongoing recovery from injury.

In the most recent season of the Indian Premier League, he was a part of Rajasthan’s roster. Throughout his 17 games with the team, he took 19 wickets at an economy rate of 8.29. At the most recent event, he bowled 3/22, which was his best performance.

Prasidh last played for India in August 2022, during their tour of Zimbabwe. Since then, he has been recovering from a stress fracture at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru.

Prasidh has appeared in 51 games throughout two seasons of the Indian Premier League, accumulating 49 wickets at an economy rate of 8.92. He has only played 14 games for India in the One-Day International circuit, but his 25 wickets at an average of 23.92 and his economy rate of 5.32 are very remarkable.

Some notable fast bowlers, including India’s top performer Jasprit Bumrah, have suffered from stress fractures, which may delay recovery by a long period of time. The 50-over World Cup will begin in India in October, and Prasidh is hoping to return to competitive cricket by then. If not, he will miss the competition.

Prasidh first played for India in an international match on March 23, 2021, against England in Pune. His last international match came on August 20, 2022, against the Chevrons in Harare.

In addition to Prasidh’s ailment, India has to deal with the fact that Bumrah has yet to return from the back injury that kept him out of the T20 World Cup in 2022. In the present Border-Gavaskar Trophy match against Australia, India is doing without Bumrah’s services.
