The Charlotte Edwards Cup 2022 is the 2nd edition of the Charlotte Edwards Cup, an English Women’s cricket Twenty20 domestic tournament that will take place between May 14 to June 11, 2022. Eight teams will compete in two double round-robin groups followed by Finals.
The Lightning will be led by the Scotland Women’s cricket team captain Kathryn Bryce. They will feature some of the big names likely Tammy Beaumont, and Katie Gordon. On the other hand, Northern Diamonds, the runners-up of the 2021 edition will be led by batting all-rounder Hollie Armitage who currently captains Yorkshire as well. Nat Sciver, Katherine Brunt, Jenny Gunn, and Beth Langston are the promising players in their lineup. Both teams will have a quality lineup of excellent players who will be getting their sides off to a positive start.
