“Leave It Alone”- Wrestling veteran dismisses Uncle Howdy’s attempt to carry Bray Wyatt’s legacy

The terrorizing faction that had been teasing their appearance ever since WrestleMania 40 finally emerged from the shadows on the latest episode of Monday Night RAW. The show concluded with Uncle Howdy and his faction, which came to be known as the Wyatt Sicks, making their presence known in a huge statement.

However, a veteran of the business was not pleased to see a sequel of the legacy of the late Bray Wyatt with the introduction of Uncle Howdy’s faction.

Which veteran did not like the reintroduction of Uncle Howdy and his new allies that debuted on RAW?

During the recent edition of Sportskeeda UnSKripted, wrestling veteran Bill Apter acknowledged it as a tribute to Bray Wyatt but felt that it went beyond that. He made his opinion to leave Wyatt’s legacy alone and believed that its lineage and impact did not need another sequel.

“I felt that if this was a tribute to Bray Wyatt with his brother coming out with the lantern and all that, that was nice. But it became more than his tribute. So, I am going TO echo the words of Hector Guerrero, where I am gonna say, ‘Leave it alone.’ We don’t need the sequel. The sequels are usually never as good as the original, and I wanna remember the whole Bray Wyatt shtick the way it was. Not the new chapter without him.”

As witnessed, Howdy appeared at the end of the show with his new faction members, identified as Nikki Cross, Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy, and Erick Rowan, an OG member of the Wyatt family. They represented the human incarnations of the characters of the Firefly Funhouse. Moreover, they laid carnage on the entire backstage area, taking out stars like Chad Gable and Gunther before closing out the show on a high note in classic Bray Wyatt style.

With Howdy and his stable back in the mix, it will be interesting to see their wrath prevail over RAW in the coming weeks.
