The Indian side will Kickstart their training session after completing their mandatory quarantine period in UK.

The Indian team has been a perfectly balanced one referring to the English conditions. However, there were few shocks which arrived during the team announcement. Exclusion of Hardik Pandya, Prithvi Shaw and Bhuvneshwar Kumar raised few eyebrows.

The management also decided to keep few players in backup for the mega event. In case if any players suffers from injury, then immediate replacement can be done.

KS Bharat was the one such wicketkeeper who was kept in the reserved list. The main squad already featured 3 keepers in the form of Rishabh Pant, Wriddhiman Saha and KL Rahul.

According to Samayam.com, “Wriddhiman Saha has fully recovered. KS Bharat has been dropped from the team because doctors have assured Saha that he is not likely to have any health problems due to corona.”

India will definitely go ahead with Rishabh Pant as their first wicketkeeper in the playing 11. His recent form in the test format will definitely come into play. It would be exciting to see if KL Rahul manages to find a place in the match squad as a pure batsman or not. India will try their level best to win the final and lift the WTC Trophy.
