Kristaps Porzingis Injury Update: Will The Latvian Power Forward Play Against Indiana Pacers In Game 4 Of Conference Finals?

Kristaps Porzingis Injury Update: The Boston Celtics are very much on the cusp of obliterating the Indiana Pacers in the conference finals as they went onto win the first three games, holding onto their dear nerves despite reckless odds and sky-high stakes. However, one question that still looms large for the Celtics is whether Kristaps Porzingis will return for Game 4.

The answer however, is most likely to upset the fans as reports have it that he has been ruled out of the fourth game as well. It was an incredible turnaround if affairs in Game 3 where the Celtics trailed for most of the game against the Pacers but a feisty showdown from Jayson Tatum who hooped a staggering 36 points, blasted 10 rebounds and engineered 8 assists turned the tide on its head.

The Pacers did catch the Celtics off-guard despite the absence of Haliburton but it wasn’t enough to claw their way back into the finals. A topsy turvy affair oscillating from one end to the other saw Boston walking away with the bragging rights.

Kristaps Porzingis injury update continues to bother Boston Celtics

Kristaps Porzingis, the star of Boston, was expected to be back in Game 4 of the finals. Unfortunately, as things stand, the Latvian star is still not fully fit and the fans will have to wait in order to get a clarity on his return date. He is suffering from a calf-strain and that still remains a burning issue for the power-forward.

In the absence of Porzingis, Xavier Tillman and Luke Kornet have shown some fine solidity and will once again be the trump cards for the Celtics as they hope to sweep the Pacers clean off their feet. Going by the lofty standards of Kristaps Porzingis, the man has played just 14 play-off games where he has averaged 15.1 points per game, 6 RPG and 1.3 APG which are pretty modest to be honest. Apart from the Celtics, he has been a part of the Dallas Mavericks, the Washington Wizards and the New York Knicks.
