In the recently concluded Ashes, there was a controversy when England requested a ball change. The umpires were obliged to do the same. Later, England won the game and a few of the Aussies were disappointed with this entire incident.

Referring to this incident, Warner trolled the English Team. Meanwhile, he also wished luck to the Aussies for the game. This tweet has now gone viral. Here is a look at the Tweet:

The opener will be vital for the Aussies in India

Meanwhile, Warner might have played his last series as a Test cricketer. Despite getting sufficient chances, Warner failed to help his team. He appeared in good touch in the first few games but later lost his way. He was especially poor against Stuart Broad despite knowing that he has a weakness against him.

Nevertheless, Warner’s focus will now be on the upcoming ODI World Cup. He helped Australia win the T20 World Cup in 2021. If Warner can fire the Aussies to the trophy later this year in India, it would be a fitting end to his career. However, he will have his struggles in the competition. His current form is poor and despite knowing the Indian conditions very well, he could still have some issues. That said, Warner is a big-game player and he will be an important cricketer for the Australian squad.
