Fans on Twitter reacted hilariously after stand-in Indian skipper Hardik Pandya said that he wants to have more bowling options in the team. They cheekily said that they are against this move as it will not be good for fantasy users.

India displayed a staggering performance with both bat and ball and cliched the second T20I against New Zealand by 65 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the series. It’s fair to say that India has almost every base covered in the match, which was one of the main reasons behind their winning the game.

Asked to bat first, Indian batters struggled to get going but Suryakumar Yadav took kiwi pacers to the cleaners and held one end while wickets kept tumbling at the other. He scored 111 runs whereas the rest of the batters managed just 69 runs as India posted a total of 191 runs on the board.

It was a superlative bowling performance by their end then as they bowled exceptionally well to bundle out the opposition for just 126 runs. However, what stood out for them was Deepak Hooda chipped in with the ball and took 4 wickets. India had 7 bowling options today and it was the main highlight of their win today.

After the match skipper, Hardik Pandya addressed the team’s performance and said: “The conditions were very wet, so credit to the bowlers. I have bowled a lot, and going forward I want to see more bowling options. Not always that this will work but I want more batters to chip in with the ballI expect them to be professional, which they are. Give them the opportunity to enjoy themselves.”
