This week’s SmackDown will witness Sheamus and Drew McIntyre going head-to-head in a ‘good old-fashioned Irish Donnybrook Match’. These two will finally face off in the ring after weeks of shenanigans by Sheamus. The winner will get a shot at the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at ‘Clash at the Castle’ in September.
Bobby Lashley, the former WWE champion, gave his prediction about who would win the match. According to the 46-year old, Drew McIntyre’s going to win the match on SmackDown this Friday. He is also hopeful that McIntyre will give him a title shot after winning it back at Clash at the Castle.
Speaking on WWE BT Sport, Lashley said:
“Drew has that match with Sheamus in SmackDown. If he wins that one, he’s next in line for the title. So I’m pulling for Drew all the way because if he wins that match and goes to Clash at The Castle.”
"Drew is one of my favourite people in the wrestling business, if you want to talk about someone representing the company – he's that guy."
"Everything about him is champion status."

Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre have faced off before at WrestleMania 37, where he defeated McIntyre to retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. They’re currently both on the RAW brand and are two of the top faces there currently.
Here is why Drew McIntyre starts as the favorites to win the Irish Donnybrook Match
Whatever company we crossed paths in, whether it was side-by-side or going to war against each other, one thing was clear – respect. I appreciate you big man, we'll run it back soon enough 👊 @fightbobby https://t.co/hNaCZ6GDvf

Drew McIntyre is a heavy favorite to win the upcoming match on SmackDown. Between him and Sheamus, McIntyre’s stock is significantly higher currently. He will face the winner of the Last Man Standing match between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. Reigns is almost a lock to win at SummerSlam.
McIntyre beating Reigns at Clash at the Castle in UK would be a tremendous moment for him as well as the fans. How that pans out is yet to be seen. In case you do not know the rules of the Irish Donnybrook match, you can check them out here.
