KXIP – James Neesham – 50 lakhs
Hailed by many as the bargain buy of the season, James Neesham was bought for only 50 lakhs in the IPL Auction 2020 by Punjab. The Kiwi all-rounder could make a huge impact in IPL this year.
KKR – Tom Banton – 1 Crore
KKR has spent a lot of money on its overseas players, but they managed to steal England’s explosive batsman Tom Banton for just 1 Crore INR in the auction of IPL 2020. Banton had reportedly gained interest from Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings before the auction. The two high-profile teams had asked for his availability, but none of the two teams went after him.
RR – Oshane Thomas – 50 lakhs

Sunrisers Hyderabad retained their tall pacer Billy Stanlake ahead of IPL 2020 for 50 lakhs. In the subsequent auction, they grabbed the services of Caribbean all-rounder Fabian Allen for 50 lakhs. Both players are unlikely to feature in SRH’s starting XI.
