India is all set to travel to Ireland for the three-match T20I series. The first game will be played on the 18th of August followed by the second and third games to be played on the 20th and 23rd August. All three games of the series will be played at The Village, Malahide.

Ireland series will see a second-string Indian squad because the main core of players will be preparing for the Asia Cup 2023. The series will mark the return of Jasprit Bumrah into international cricket as he will also be leading the team.
Coming to the playing 11, Ruturaj Gaikwad, who is the vice-captain of the team is expected to open the innings. He’s likely to partner young Yashasvi Jaiswal at the top. The Southpaw made his debut in the series against West Indies and was decent in his maiden T20I series.
In the absence of Suryakumar Yadav, Sanju Samson is expected to bat at No.3. The keeper batter failed in the T20Is against West Indies and it’ll be a crucial series for him. At No.4 Tilak Varma is expected to retain his place. He was India’s leading scorer in the West Indies series.
Rinku Singh is expected to make his debut for the team and play the finisher’s role along with Shivam Dube, who was recalled into the team after his heroics in the IPL. Whereas Washington Sundar is likely to be the spin-bowling all-rounder in the team.
Ravi Bishnoi is expected to get a longer run in this series whereas Jasprit Bumrah along with Arshdeep Singh and Prasidh Krishna are expected to be the three frontline pacers in the team.
