IND vs WI: India is all set to tour West Indies for the full tour. The two teams will lock horns with each other in the two Tests, 3 ODIs and the five-match T20I series. The tour will kick start with a two-match Test series. The first game will be played from July 12th to 17th followed by the second and the final Test to be played from July 20th to 24th. The focus will then move towards the ODI series that is slated to be played from 27th July to August 1st. The five-match T20Is are scheduled to take place from 4th August to 13th August.

IND vs WI: The main focus will be on the Test series first as the eyes will be on the team, especially after their loss in the final of the ICC World Test Championship. The BCCI recently named the squad for the two-match series and it saw seniors getting dropped and youngsters getting opportunities. The playing 11 for the first Test will not doubt depict what combination will India opt for in the next edition of the WTC Final.
Skipper Rohit Sharma will no doubt open the innings but the question remains who will open the innings alongside him? With no Cheteshwara Pujara in the team, the tussle will be between Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal as to who will open and who will bat at No.3. But Jaiswal wins our vote to open and Gill will likely bat at No.3.

Virat Kohli no brainer will bat at No.4 whereas Ajinkya Rahane is also likely to retain his place at No.5, especially after his heroics in the ICC WTC Final. For the keeper’s spot, Ishan Kishan is expected to make his debut as KS Bharat hasn’t quite impressed with the bat.
R Ashwin along with Ravindra Jadeja and Shardul Thakur is likely to be the all-rounder whereas Mohammed Siraj and Jaydev Unadkat are expected to be the two frontline pacers in the team.
