The ongoing Ashes has got all the cricket fans involved and even the Prime Ministers of both nations are involved. We have already seen them taking to Twitter to express their views about the tournament. Here, we take a look as the United Kingdom PM Rishi Sunak has a fun banter with the Australian PM when they met at the NATO Summit.

Rishi Sunak meets the Australian PM at the NATO Summit

The Prime Minister of Australia, Anthony Albanese, and the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Rishi Sunak had to meet recently. After their official discussions, they came in front of the media to discuss the Ashes. Each of them had a picture of their team winning, and in the end, the Aussie PM tried to pull Rishi’s leg by reminding him that Australia was leading the Ashes 2-1. To this, the UK PM replied, “I’m sorry, I didn’t bring my sandpaper with me”.

Both the Prime Ministers were in a good mood, and all of this was happening in good spirits. Their involvement in the tournament has made the competition more engaging and interesting for the fans.

Ashes will be a heated affair in the last two games

Meanwhile, the Ashes will be a splendid affair in the next two matches. The next game will happen from July 19th in Manchester while the last encounter will happen in London. England won the last game and this made the competition interesting. While they are looking dangerous with the inclusion of the likes of Mark Wood, Australia is looking vulnerable with a few issues of their own.

Therefore, the next two games will be watched across the cricketing fraternity with wide interest. It will be interesting to see if there would be any changes made to the playing XI for the next match. Australia might drop David Warner for this game. It will be massive if that happens.
