“I’m Not The Kind Of Woman”- CJ Perry Sends A Message To Fans After AEW Debut

CJ Perry, formerly known as Lana in WWE, made her first AEW appearance last night at the All Out pay-per-view show in Chicago. Perry came out midway during the singles match between her husband Miro and Powerhouse Hobbs.

Powerhouse Hobbs lost the battle against Miro. When it looked like Miro and Hobbs were trying to become friends, Hobbs attacked Miro. Out of nowhere, Perry’s music hit at the United Center in Chicago, where she came out with a steel chair and took out Powerhouse Hobbs. Although Perry’s first hit did not do much damage to Hobbs, it distracted him enough to allow Miro a chance to return.

Miro stood tall with his wife CJ Perry at the end of the segment. Taking to X after the match ended, Perry wrote on her official profile:

“I’m not the kind of woman you renounce.”

Did CJ Perry take a shot at WWE storyline in her statement on X?

In case you forgot, Perry, who performed under the name of Lana in WWE was involved in a memorable storyline during the final few years of her WWE stint. She betrayed her husband Rusev and joined Bobby Lashley in a romantic way. Later, Liv Morgan also made an entry into this feud.

By the end of that storyline, both Bobby Lashley and Rusev had given up on Lana. Hence, it looks like CJ Perry referred to that storyline in her first message after joining AEW and wrote that she is not a woman someone can renounce. It looks like Perry will remain in Miro’s corner for the rest of his career now.

AEW fans will hope that Tony Khan does not repeat the mistake made by Vince McMahon. Miro and his real-life wife Perry, fka Lana, should remain together only for storyline purpose also.
