“I Have My Eyes On Him”- John Cena Picks His Favorite Current Superstar

Former WWE Champion John Cena recently named his favorite current Superstar on the main roster. Cena is an all-time great, who made a name for himself with his top-quality in-ring work, fantastic work ethic, and excellent mic skills. The former WWE Champion has now moved to Hollywood. He returned to WWE last year.

He made his comeback at the Money in the Bank premium live event, where he received a massive pop from the WWE Universe. Cena had a rivalry with WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns last summer, which eventually led to a SummerSlam match between two of the top Superstars of the company. Reigns emerged victorious in that match.

Cena is likely to return to WWE later this year, and his rumored SummerSlam opponent is the reigning WWE United States Champion Theory. In a recent video shared by WWE Deutschland on their Instagram page, Cena was asked about his favorite current WWE Superstar. Interestingly, he picked Theory ahead of the likes of Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes. Here’s what he replied:

Will John Cena challenge Theory for the WWE United States Championship?

Mr. McMahon has played a huge role in Theory’s push on WWE TV. He has interacted with him multiple times on TV. Also, when Theory won the WWE United States Championship from Finn Balor, Vince came out to celebrate him. Rumors have claimed that Cena vs Theory can happen at this year’s SummerSlam.

Also, Theory himself is keen to get in the ring with Cena. Here’s what he said in a recent interview:

“It just takes words out of my mouth, because I think when that moment happens and I’m in the ring with John Cena, man, I don’t know what to say. I don’t know what I’m gonna say. I don’t know.”
