“I Had A Crush On Him”- When Charlotte Flair Confessed Her Feelings For Former WWE Champion

Randy Orton has been one of the most iconic wrestlers for the last couple of decades and till date, every time the apex predator steps into the ring, the WWE universe goes absolutely bonkers. Not many fans would know that Charlotte Flair had a crush on him.

Not only is he a brilliant grappler but his style statement that has spanned over the years has been incredibly on the money. From sporting various hairdos to changing moustaches or even going clean shaved, Orton was probably one of those wrestlers who blended style and wrestling in the same breath. Oh, don’t you forget, his tattoos too.

With all said and done, Orton was obviously the heartthrob of many a wrestling fan that included common folks and pro-wrestlers alike. Well, when we say about Pro-Wrestling fans, a big name in the industry now is that of Charlotte Flair and believe this or not, she had a crush on the Viper as well.

Here is what Charlotte Flair had to say about Randy Orton in her high-school days

Charlotte was 16 when Randy Orton competed in his first televised match for WWE, shortly after WrestleMania 18. Charlotte’s father, Ric Flair was the stablemate of Randy in the Evolution and on an European tour with WWE, Ric took his daughter along and she got an opportunity to hang around with Legend Killer and several other WWE stars. Charlotte wrote in her book,

“After the show that night, my parents let me ‘go out with the kids. I was with Stacy [Keibler], Randy Orton, Victoria, Hurricane Helms, and Torrie Wilson. Since I was in Europe, I was legally allowed to enjoy drinks with them.

“They watched over me like I was their little sister, which was unfortunate for me because, in high school, I had a crush on Randy. I hoped, as a high school girl would, that he’d see me in another way, not as his little sister. What high school girl wouldn’t? That didn’t happen.”

Well, the Universe didn’t see Randy Orton and Charlotte working out on the same storyline but it never really hurts to see two of the best in business to come together and join hands for a storyline like never before, with the romantic angle always on the platter.
