“How Can Anyone Seriously Not Like Theory Man”- Twitter Wants WWE To Turn US Champion Face After Backstage Video

WWE United States Champion Austin Theory has had a forgettable title reign so far. He has been holding the belt since late last year, but he has not had one memorable feud. Even the rivalry with John Cena could get him over with the fans.

Looking at his lackluster title reign as a heel, fans have been suggesting the WWE creative team to turn him face. A recent video of Austin has been doing rounds on social media, where he had a hilarious reaction after being offered a surprise gift backstage.

Fans felt that there was no reason why someone could not love Austin, and in their view, turning him face was the best thing WWE can do. Here is the video, followedby some Twitter reactions:

“That’s a prodigy”- Jim Cornette recently compared Nick Wayne with WWE star Austin Theory

Speaking of Austin, the United States Champion was recently in the headlines when veteran Jim Cornette compared him with AEW Superstar Nick Wayne. Talking about how Wayne is not in the same category as Austin or Bron Breakker, Cornette said on his podcast:

“That’s what I’ve looked at and seen in Theory or seen in Bron Breakker. That’s a prodigy. Not what moves you can do, any kind of moves.”

“But the basics, the concept of wrestling, the timing, the facials, the body language, the working ability, those are things that I determine when I look at if someone’s a prodigy, and I didn’t see any of it with Nick Wayne,” Cornette added.

As far as Theory is concerned, the WWE United States Champion will soon put his title on the line against either Rey Mysterio or Santos Escobar. The two members of the LWO will go one-on-one in the finals of the WWE United States Championship Invitational tournament. It will be exciting to see which LWO member faces Theory.
